Story of of Vohl Inc. in Quebec

Member of the Vohl Inc. team

From the forge shop founded in 1918 to the state-of-the-art digitally controlled machining center, the company based out of Saint-Marc-des-Carrières has become a leader in equipment manufacturing in Quebec over the years. The founder, Mr. Adrien Vohl, bought a forge in 1918 and, soon, with the advent of industrial development, he was called upon to carry out repair work on the heavy machinery of the leading companies in the Portneuf region. The company grew bigger and its reputation also grew with new contracts for industrial and agricultural machinery from all over Quebec.

In 1950, Mr. Vohl designed and built his first snow blower. The machine met with great success and other models followed over the years with the same quality that has made Vohl Inc. a leader in the manufacturing of snow blowers. In 1967, armed with its expertise in design and manufacture, Vohl Inc. began to develop a small short-wood transporter. The F4 Dion was a big hit with forestry workers and is still very popular with its users today. Far from stopping there, in 1983, the manufacturer embarked on the development of a broom for airport runways. Once again, Vohl Inc. stood apart owing to the undeniable quality of its product.

In 2015, the third generation of the family business continued to innovate by introducing new high quality snow removal products adapted to today's markets.
