From the blacksmith shop founded in Saint-Marc-des-Carrières in 1918 to a cutting-edge CNC machining center, Vohl Inc. has become an undisputed leader in the equipment manufacturing sector in Quebec. The founder, Mr. Adrien Vohl, acquired a blacksmith shop in 1918. To keep up with industrial development, he soon began to do repair work on heavy machinery for major businesses in the Portneuf region. The company grew and gained in recognition as he continued to be awarded new contracts for industrial and agricultural machinery by customers across Quebec.
In 1950, Mr. Vohl designed and built his first snowblower. The machine was a great success and other models would follow over the years, always with the same kind of quality that made Vohl Inc. a leader in snowblower manufacturing. In 1967, having developed strong expertise in the areas of design and manufacturing, Vohl Inc. began manufacturing a small log forwarder.
The F 4 Dion was a great success in the logging industry and is still popular among users to this day. Far from stopping there, the company branched out again in 1983 with the development of an airport runway sweeper. Once again, Vohl Inc. stood out for the excellent quality of its product.
In 2000, Vohl Inc. continued to innovate by developing a new forestry vehicle. The Akrobat was launched in 2003 and, just like the company’s other innovations, this one was also destined for success. This vehicle offers the logging industry unique features that once again confirm Vohl Inc. as a leader in the forestry equipment industry. Customers are guaranteed a quality product due to our ISO 9001-2008 and CWB certifications.
Today, the 3rd generation family business continues to innovate by producing new, high quality snow removal products adapted to today's markets.
